The Conference was organised by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) and supported by Trade and Industry Policy Strategies (TIPS). Her paper was entitled “The sensitivity of the South African industrial sector’s electricity consumption to electricity price fluctuations”. Local and international policy makers, researchers and academics with particular interest in energy economics as well as the regulation of the energy sector attended the Conference.
