The Department of Early Childhood Education proudly announces the positive news from the NRF that Professor Marien Graham has received a C3 rating.

Professor Marien Graham, who holds a doctorate in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Pretoria, has a distinguished research career. Her work includes numerous sole-authored publications and collaborations with esteemed international and South African scholars. Professor Graham has significantly contributed to various fields, including education, healthcare and social issues. She has published over 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored one book and five book chapters, and serves on the editorial advisory board of Scientific Studies and Research, Series Mathematics and Informatics. Additionally, she regularly presents her research at national and international conferences and has supervised or co-supervised one postdoctoral, 15 doctoral and 22 Master's students to completion. Her academic achievements have been recognised with the 2023 Research Medal from the Education Association of South Africa.
