As part of RAG, it is expected of every residence/day house to have a long-term outreach which they can visit and help at for an extended period. Our Dregeana long term outreach is the Zama Pre- School of Hope and I am very honoured to say that 2018 will be our third consecutive year helping at this amazing initiative. To be able to see the progress that has been made over the last few years is truly heartwarming and fulfilling. This amazing preschool is run by a remarkable group of volunteers who are trying to uplift the rural community in Pretoria West where the school is based. I have had the opportunity to see how this school has developed and how much influence it has on the upliftment of the community. Visiting the school is always something to look forward to, from the reactions of the children when they first see us to the fun we have interacting with these children and the work we do to try make their lives a little better. We are really honoured to be a part of the development of this school and will continue to be a part of it for the foreseeable future.
