One of the main reasons that day students join Day Houses is because of the SOCIALS and I am very proud to say that Dregeana has started off the 2018 term with a bang in terms of socials.

We’ve hosted great socials these last few months and with 3 of them had the honour of co-hosting them with incredible ladies’ residences. Our first social was our Braai-Pong Social which was open to our House members and was just hosted by Dregeana. The social consisted of a sporting tournament as well as a braai and was done just for the house members to mingle and relax after a tough few months.

Mad-Punchout was next on the horizon and this was hosted with the lovely ladies of Madelief. The atmosphere was amazing with the music pumping and all the members having a good time. Mad-Punchout was followed by the Thunderkats Last Hurrah and even though this was kind of a bittersweet social as we were parting ways with our 2017 RAG Partners Katjiepiering it did not stop everyone from having a blast.

After an amazing Zoepweek, our engagement party to Klaradyn (2018 RAG Partners) was how we ended the year when it came to socials and the turnout from the members was absolutely great as it was one last time to party before the stress of exams kicked in.

All in all the socials this year so far have been major successes and this is all thanks to our members as the turnout was always fantastic and we look forward to all the amazing socials 2018 has to offer.
