The Drama Honours Movement class of 2017 will present their first creative choreographic expressions at the Masker Theatre from 10-12 May at 7pm daily.
MANIFESTO is the result of a creative research process into personal histories and their social resonances. With new works by Simone Philips, Themba Papu, Bernadice Egan, Marelize Wolmarans, Zelné Papenfus and Walt Janse van Rensburg, MANIFESTO confronts and responds to the choreographic and research process.
Manifesto also includes an ensemble work performed by the choreographers and choreographed by award winning Drama Lecturer, Bailey Snyman. AFTER ALL dialogues with the process of creating an ensemble performance through an investigation into choreographic structures and ensemble forms. AFTER ALL has an original score composed by Daniel Geddes of Liquid Fusion Productions.
