π: of love, hope and trauma

This original Theatre of Cruelty production is inspired by Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind and offers a unique sensory experience that fuses live performance with intermediality. π follows Beth and Jake, the two tragically doomed lovers and protagonists from the original text, and explores the possibility of a “what if” moment in time. Love, trauma and hope fuel these two characters as they proceed to rebuild themselves in a relationship that becomes ethereal.

Created by Micia de Wet, starring Standard Bank Ovation award winner Gopala Davies as Jake, and Kyknet&kie presenter Ansu Visser as Beth, this production is a must see.
