The instruction covered all the work contained in the Lessac Voice and Body texts pertaining to: body movement and body esthetics; the development of the speaking and singing voice; speech training; perception and response; body conditioning and physical fitness; language & expressiveness; emotions and the creative process; and applied text explorations – all directed toward an integrated approach to actor training, as well as to creative healthy behaviour in one’s personal life.

The intensive was limited to 21 selected trainees. It was taught by Master Teacher Deborah Kinghorn and Certified Teachers Marth Munro and Gert Terny. In September 2013, a four-day introductory Teachers workshop was conducted by Master teacher Deborah Kinghorn and Certified Teacher Marth Munro. After completion of this workshop Morné was granted a Lessac practitioner designation. Deborah Kinghorn remarked that Morné “brought willingness, intelligence, enthusiasm, and a creative spirit to his work and the work of the entire group.”

Morné was also offered a $2000.00 scholarship towards studying at the Lessac Intensive Workshop 2014. Additionally, The Lessac Master Teacher Council identified and formally invited Morné as one of the four Lessac practitioners to participate in the 2014 Teacher Workshop. These two workshops will run concurrently from July 6 – August 2, 2014 at DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, USA.
