Asem triumphed at the recent Tshwane Toneelfees. The production details how humans are in need of life-giving oxygen to survive. They lack insight and knowledge and therefore cannot function on their own and live a full life. They choose to believe that life only exists in shades of grey.
Asem is written and directed by Vorster Venter and Issie Venter (Knypie Kat Theatre). The production is site-specific.
