Throughout my academic journey, I have relied on bursaries to finance my education, despite facing financial instability, with outstanding fees from my undergraduate to Master's studies. Nevertheless, I remained steadfast in my commitment, never allowing these challenges to hinder my efforts. Colleagues would often joke about whether I lived in the library, as I consistently worked in my office from 7:00 to 16:00, and then dedicated my evenings - from 16:00 to 20:00, and sometimes until midnight during exam periods- to my academic pursuits in the research commons.
Balancing the dual roles of a dedicated staff member and Master's student has been demanding, often requiring me to spend 14 to 18 hours daily in the library. However, my drive comes from understanding the significance of maintaining both academic excellence and professional commitment. This relentless dedication has led to my recognition as a Golden Key student by the Golden Key International Honour Society, an acknowledgment of my academic achievements and leadership potential. This recognition not only validates my hard work but also serves as an inspiration for others to strive for intellectual growth and excellence.
