UP Library & Campus Tours Quiz Night – 6 August 2024

The Department of Library Services (DLS) and UP Campus Tours have been strengthening their collaboration to raise awareness of the DLS’s offerings. Recently, the Learning Centre was invited to present to students participating in campus tours, providing them with an introduction to the DLS’s products and services. These students were encouraged to visit the library and engage with the DLS through quiz nights and other events.

This collaboration has been a great success, leading to regular visits from school groups, international guests, and prospective students. Building on this momentum, the campus tour students and the Learning Centre organized a Quiz Night. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students were invited to participate in a lively event that featured a Kahoot session followed by a traditional quiz competition. Teams competed for prizes sponsored by DIA and the Library. The evening was filled with fun, as students enjoyed props, hot chocolate, and popcorn while learning about the library, the world, and the UP campus.

The event showcased the joy of learning in an engaging and enjoyable way, contributing to students' growth and success. We look forward to continuing this rewarding partnership with Tuks Campus Tours.
