Sanele Mathibela, a dedicated hourly worker at the Medical Library, stands as a shining example of this dynamic event. Beyond her integral role within the medical library's bustling corridors, Sanele is currently embarking on a remarkable journey towards a BSc honour’s degree in Physiology.

Amidst the impressive array of presentations, Sanele stood tall as she showcased her e-poster to an eager audience. The e-poster is titled: “Investigating the effect of a sulphamoylated antimitotic compound on cervical cancer cell line.” Her research theme captured the attention of all in attendance and her investigation focused on a subject of utmost significance. The main experimental techniques used in her research were cell culturing, crystal violet staining, spectrophotometry, light microscopy and qPCR. She strives to be part of the solution by bringing quality healthcare to those who need it mostly through research. Her journey still unfolding, showcases the boundless capacity of the human spirit to embrace multifaceted roles to make a lasting impact. Sanele's story is a beacon of inspiration, encouraging us all to chase our dreams relentlessly while also tending to the roots that support our growth.
