Introduction to IBM SPSS Workshop

The Research Commons continued to emphasize its unwavering commitment to advancing postgraduate scholars' skill development through a workshop centred around the topic "An Introduction to IBM SPSS." The workshop convened on 24 June 2023 at the Veterinary Science Library. The workshop was carefully planned to provide participants with a theoretical and practical understanding of the software's complex functions. Participants quickly grasped the theoretical underpinnings and practical manipulations inherent to IBM SPSS, resulting in a demonstrably positive outcome. The feedback provided by workshop participants was notably positive, with a significant number expressing an eagerness to participate in future, more advanced, workshop iterations. It is noteworthy that the facilitators of the workshop came from the Merensky 2 Library. This provides evidence of the university's unwavering dedication to the provision of high-quality educational resources across the multiple campuses of the University of Pretoria.
