Two directors visit the Department of Library Services

The Department of Library Services was honored to welcome two distinguished guests to our Merensky 2 Library on 24 April 2023. Dr. Connie Bitso, Director of the University of Fort Hare Libraries, and Mr. Lindsay Reid, Director of the Library and Information Services of Nelson Mandela University graced us with their presence.

During their visit, Dr. Bitso and Mr. Reid engaged in fruitful discussions with the Makerspace, Digitisation Unit, Learning Centre, Research Commons, Digital Scholarship Unit, the Scholarly Communications Unit as well as meeting our Executive team members. Their presence provided an excellent opportunity for collaboration and strengthening ties between our institutions.

We look forward to future collaborations and continued engagement with both of these institutions.
