Getting Published in High Impact Scholarly Journals

Posted on June 21, 2016

The Groenkloof Research Commons invites you to a presentation by Prof. Kobus Maree.

The objective of the presentation is to help early career professionals and other potential authors to learn about writing for scholarly journals. The presenter will discuss the key components of an
acceptable manuscript and highlight problematic issues that lead to poor outcomes such as manuscripts being rejected or repeatedly referred back to the author. Interaction is encouraged during the workshop and
attendees will be given an opportunity to ask question or raise any issues of concern.

Please be reminded that writing scholarly articles require dedication, skills and abilities that are acquired through an ongoing process of scholarly development instead of during a brief workshop!
