The KSH 700 construction management students from UP's Department of Construction Economics had the privilege to put their studies to practice at the Club JunXion Residential Development in Hazeldean, Pretoria.  The KSH 700 lecturer, Chantal Moeller, arranged this practical learning experience for her students.  The students had to study a 24 residential unit development and were granted permission to attend site meetings and site walks and also had to compile a detailed report on town planning, services, health & safety aspects, programming, civil and structural elements, and community related issues.  A special thanks to Sarel van Dyk (Accura Developments), Martin van der Westhuizen (VDW Quantity Surveyors) & Colin and Clifton Barnard (CCB Building Construction) for allowing these students the opportunity to learn and experience the construction industry first hand.
