The Department of Construction Economics welcomes our new Head of Department, Prof Benita Zulch.  Prof Zulch took up employment at UP on 1 June 2017.  Prof Tinus Maritz handed over the reigns to Prof Zulch when he retired earlier this year.  He is however still planning to remain involved with UP on various levels.

Prof Zulch was previously employed at the Department of Quantity Surveying and Construction Management at the University of the Free State.  She has extensive experience in research and teaching and learing. Her qualifications include a Masters in Property Science and a PhD in Property Management.

Our Department looks forward to building on the success of the past.
