Congratulations to Mr Marco van Dijk in the Department of Civil Engineering, who was the winner in the Empowering Communities category for the Knowledge Tree Awards by the Water Research Commission. Mr van Dijk received the award for his work in the development of the small-scale Hydropower Project at Kwa Madiba Village in the Eastern Cape.
