Welcome to the Eugène Marais Chair of Wildlife Management. We are dedicated to building innovative capacity in individuals and the wildlife management and conservation industry through world-class teaching and research.
Renowned for their relevance, our programs stimulate students in mastering all aspects of the subject and in developing them into viable wildlife managers that meet needs and solve problems. Through a combination of direct expert teaching, practical work, and close guidance from experienced mentors, our students leave equipped with the spirit, mindset, and process skills necessary to be innovators and leaders in the wildlife industry. Complementing our educational programs are exciting research programs aimed pushing the boundaries of applied wildlife science and at developing students.
