Ms Sibanyoni, who recently coordinated the scorers’ training for the project, is tasked with quality assurance and monitoring for the North-West project and has since been branded the logistics manager. The ever hard working Sibongile started working for the Centre for Evaluation and Assessment on part-time basis assisting with data capturing and other administration duties for various projects in the centre.

In June 2010, Ms Sibanyoni was appointed as a project assistant and was responsible for the logistics of the 2011 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS 2011), a research study conducted by the CEA under the auspices of the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) which assessed reading literacy in South African schools across 11 languages in Grade 4 and two languages in Grade 5.

To enhance her expertise, in 2012 Ms Sibanyoni enrolled for a course in Project Management with Continuing Education at University of Pretoria (CE@UP) as part of her professional development plan.
