Archaeology Undergraduate

Archaeology is offered via a three-year BA (Own Choice) programme. A 65% aggregate for third-year subjects allows students to embark on a one-year honours degree, successful completion of which allows them to apply for membership of the Association of Southern African Professional Archaeologists (ASAPA). Normal classes – two hours per week – are paired with two-hour practical sessions that put into practice the theory learned in class.
