Aikido is a traditional Japanese system of self-defence that emphasizes throws and joint lock techniques. Unlike many other martial arts, Aikido is essentially non-competitive and non-violent, making it a subtle and graceful form of self-defence. It is effective and well-suited for gentle people, focusing on moral values and offering a practical way of life.
Aikido's main objective is to enhance our society's quality by promoting a chivalric and moral code of behaviour. At TuksAikido, students train both body and spirit intending to become sincere and well-rounded individuals.
