SENIOR LECTURER

The Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development is embarking on a strategic plan to lead the transformation of African agricultural and food systems through leading influential research and as we transition from the Sustainable Development Goals to the next development era post 2030. The Department seeks a Senior Environmental Economics Lecturer to join our dynamic team in this endeavour and build a solid research programme that addresses critical contemporary issues in environmental science in Africa.

The annual remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent's level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED and UMVUZO medical aid schemes and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium.
