All students are invited to submit a short academic article / academically referenced opinion piece for publication in our online writing platform, Alternate Horizons.

For this special edition, we are partnering with the UNAI SDG 2 Hub, and the United Nation Academic Impact (UNAI) initiative to look for submissions that share perspectives on: Food security, food systems and food heroes (You can select your own title around these themes). For more information on being a #FoodHero and the Act Now campaign that has inspired this series, visit their webpage.

Article length: 800-1500 words excluding bibliography
Article style: Arial, 12pt, justified text
Reference style: Harvard method

Please submit your article by the end of August. We will publish articles throughout the next two months. The best articles will also feature on the UNAI SDG 2 Hub page and the UNAI website.

Review Process
Articles will be reviewed by researchers and academics in similar fields and will be considered for publication based on their feedback. Submissions of previously published work will not be considered.
