Unemployment is one of the major socio-economic problems that has been facing South Africa over a decade. The latest quarterly figures produced by Statistics South Africa showed that about one in four people who are willing to work can’t find a job. At the same time agricultural sector is expected to create one million jobs by the year 2030, according to the National Development Plan (NDP).
