TuksHockey conducted a coaching clinic at a High school in the Gauteng province to underprivileged school players. This was the 2nd project of its kind.
This is part of the TuksSport and TuksHockey’s drive to conduct outreach events to needy communities and provide skills to players who are less fortunate and do not get granted the same opportunities as those their own age.
TuksHockey looks to make an impact at the grassroots level on the overall South African development framework by providing players with the necessary technical skills at an early fundamental stage of their development.
Through initiatives like these, we hope to foster long-term relationships with schools in key areas whereby transformation targets are irrelevant in the future and quality players represent TuksHockey and as an extension South Africa according to the EPG statistics presented yearly.
TuksHockey provided all the equipment and the coaches for the clinic.
There was 32 players, age 14-18 present and no fee was charged to the attendees.
