2022 Club Achievements

  • TuksHockey Men and Women 1st teams won a double of the Varsity Hockey title respectively during the Varsity Sports Festival
  • 13 TuksHockey players: Lerato Mahole, Onthatile Zulu, Jean-Leigh du Toit, Tegan Fourie, Edith Molikoe, Hanrie Louw, Nduduzo Lembethe, Sihle Ngubane, Guy Morgan, Bradley Sherwood, Nqobile Ntuli, Trevor de Lora and Cameron le Forestier, were selected to represent South Africa at various senior international tournaments.
  • 9 TuksHockey players: Sihle Ngubane, Cameron le Forestier, Joshua Davies, Ayakha Mthalane, Calvin Davis, Onthatile Zulu, Jean-Leigh du Toit, Hanrie Louw, and Amelie Claasen, were selected to represent South Africa at U-21 international tournaments such as the FIH Hockey Junior World Cup.
  • Sihle Ntuli (Tuks 1 Men Head Coach) was an assistant coach of the South African men's senior national field hockey team finishing fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. This was the best finishing place for South Africa since 2002.
  • Inky Zondi (Tuks 1 Women’s Head Coach) is the current assistant coach for the South African women's senior national field hockey team. He won the Women's Africa Hockey Cup of Nations as an appointed interim head coach.
