Missed Graduation or Outstanding Obligations?

If you missed your graduation ceremony ("absentia") or were unable to attend, or if you have outstanding financial obligations, library materials, or unresolved laptop outcomes, please note that you will not receive your certificate on the scheduled day.

Certificate Collection Options:

Once these matters are settled, you have the following options to obtain your certificate:

• Book/Nominate to Collect in Person: Schedule a time to collect your certificate in person.
• Courier Request (UP): Request to have your certificate couriered to you.
• Arrange Own Courier Company: Make arrangements with your preferred courier company for certificate delivery.

Important Note: Please note that you will not be able to proceed with any of the above options if your financial obligations, library materials, or laptop outcomes remain outstanding.

How to Initiate the Process:

To initiate any of the aforementioned processes, please follow these steps:

1. Access www.up.ac.za and click on the "My UP Login" link to log onto the UP Portal using your UserID and password.
2. Click on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions [CS].
3. Select the tile titled "Academic Information".
4. Choose "Graduation Information".
5. Click on the applicable link below:
   • For courier certificate
   • To book to collect certificate
