Dr Pineteh Angu attended the 10th Conference of the European Association for the Teaching of Academic Writing from 1-4 July 2019 on the theme “Academic writing at intersections: interdisciplinarity, genre hybridization, multilingualism, digitalization and interculturality”. The conference was hosted by Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden and it was attended by more than 200 delegates.

At the conference, Dr Angu presented a paper on first year students’ experiences of teamwork in an academic literacy course and the implications for teaching collaborative literacy. He also participated in a panel discussion on the benefits and challenges of PhD by publications. Other members of the panel included academics from Norway, United Kingdom and Estonia.
