The IAPRI is funded by the Department of Agriculture at Michigan State University, USA. The workshop focused on the key principles of academic writing, how to write and publish a scientific paper, language and style used in scientific papers as well as how to revise and edit a paper. This was followed by one-on-one consultations with the researchers which focused on their results for the test as well as feedback on their writing. According to the IAPRI, in a response to Dr. Rambiritch they “feel that this was a very worthwhile effort and our researchers certainly stand to benefit a great deal from your efforts.”
