The University is pleased to announce that Mr Toby Sutcliffe has been appointed as the Acting Director of TuksSport at the University of Pretoria with effect from 1 January 2017.
Mr Sutcliffe will work closely with Mr Kobus van der Walt, who served as Director of TuksSport from July 1999 and who will retire from the service of the University at the end of February 2017.
Mr Sutcliffe is the Chief Executive Officer of the University’s High Performance Centre (hpc). His extensive experience in the sport environment makes him well equipped to fulfill the role of Acting Director of TuksSport in addition to his current duties.
The University Management would like to express its appreciation to Mr Sutcliffe for his willingness to take on this responsibility and we wish him well in his extended role.
