For the seventh year running, Assupol TuksCricket won the NCU Super 8 Knock Out competition when they beat PHSOB by 24 runs in the final at SuperSport Park on Sunday 13 March. Tuks reached the final after they beat Sinoville in the group stages and Police in the semi-final.

In the final, PHSOB won the toss and elected to bowl first and Tuks scored 256/7 in their 50 overs. Tuks’ top scorers were Heinrich Klaasen, 75, and Blake Schraader, 50*.

In reply, the Tuks bowlers managed to restrict PHSOB to 232/8 in 50 overs and helped Tuks to win the match by 24 runs. Willie Ludick (9-0-47-3) and Aiden Markram (10-2-48-2) were the top wicket-takers for Tuks.

Assupol TuksCricket have won all the competitions they have taken part in this far and will hopefully continue to do so in the 2015/2016 season.
