On behalf of the University of Pretoria, it is my privilege to welcome you as a member of the TuksAthletics Club for 2016. We are honoured to have so many young and talented athletes, like yourself, joining the Club Where Champions Are Made.

Over the years, TuksAthletics has been boasting with some of the finest and best athletes in the world and this all is due to the fact the we have outstanding and dedicated coaches as well as world class facilities. You might have seen that the track at the Bestmed TuksAthletics Stadium has been removed but the good news is that we will have a state of the art two tone blue Mondo track (same surface as in Rio!!) very soon where you and other top athletes can prepare themselves for the coming season. If weather permits, the track will be ready at the end of February 2016.

We will also be hosting the 2^nd leg of the Varsity Athletics Series on the new track on 18 March 2016 and as you will know, we are the defending champions of this Series and hopefully we can defend our title on our home ground in front of our home crowd!

All of us at TuksAthletics are looking forward to an exciting 2016 and expect amazing performances by our athletes in the build up to the IAAF World Junior Championships in Poland and the Olympic Games in Rio.
