After an incredible year where Assupol Tuks 1 won the 2014 Momentum National Club Championships, the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Finals 2014, USSA A Cricket Week 2014, Varsity Cricket 2015, the NCU Premier Leage, the NCU T20 Competition and the NCU Knock Out Competition, the team has been nominated for the Sports Team of the Year Award at the 2015 Gauteng Sports Awards. Assupol Tuks 1 won this award last year as well as the TuksSport Team of the Year and the TuksSport Club of the Year ar the Annual TuksSport Awards in October 2014.

Assupol TuksCricket Head Coach, Pierre de Bruyn, was also nominated for the Coach of the Year Award after his team had such a magnificient season. de Buyn also won the Coach of the Year Award at the Annual TuksSport Awards in October 2014.
