TuksAthletics' Renate van Tonder is currently competing at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Apia, Samoa.
Renate progressed to the final of the girls long jump where she recorded a 6.26m wind assisted jump to secure her the gold medal. This is the 2nd best jump ever by a South African athlete in the Youth age group. All of Renate's jumps in the final were further than the silver medalist.
