TuksChess player René de Beer who is first year BSc Medical Science student attended the Commonwealth Chess Tournament recently in New Dehli, India as part of the South African Junior Team.  She was the only U/20 women from South Africa who participated and placed 265 out of 500 players overall. The tournament took place from 22 June - 30 June 2015

In order to qualify for the Commonwealth she had to participate in the SA Junior closed. She won 3rd place and was invited to participate in the Commonwealth. Well done René #TuksRepresenting #StripeGeneration
