TuksCricket Ready for 2015

After winning the USSA “A” Cricket Week at the end of 2014, Assupol TuksCricket are back to work to ensure that 2015 is the best year that TuksCricket has experienced yet. The team’s preparation for the NCU Premier League and the T20 competition as well as preparations for the much anticipated Varsity Cricket week has started and players are back to work to ensure that they are ready for the challenges ahead.

The second half of the season starts with the NCU T20 Club Competition on 10 & 11 January where Assupol Tuks 1 and Assupol Tuks 2 will each play three group matches. The NCU Premier League starts again on Saturday 17 January where Assupol Tuks 1 will take on old rivals CBCOB. The new exciting addition to this year’s cricket season, Varsity Cricket, will take place in Potchefstroom from 2 – 8 February.

It has also been an exciting time for TuksCricket players where many individuals have been selected to represent in many different teams. Congratulations to the following players:

Head of Assupol TuksCricket, Pierre de Bruyn, said, “As the leading university cricket team and set up we are privileged to be in such a great position, but it had taken 5 years of extremely hard work to get here.
