Lanthe is a grade 11 pupil at Zwartkop High School and Reinhard is in grade 12 at Doxa Deo College. Both train at Tuks Trampoline club. Their personal coach is the national coach Tiaan van der Walt.
26 Sport Codes participated in the Youth Olympic Games trials with only 14 South African codes qualifying. 63 competitors and 28 officials make up the South African Youth Olympic Squad departing for Sumhapore on 9 August.
