The University of Pretoria, one of Africa’s foremost research universities, is a world-class institution where academic and sporting excellence is non-negotiable.

As a people-oriented institution, we focus on developing students to become fully integrated individuals – be it academically or on the sports field.

TuksSport, the Sport Department of the University of Pretoria, has positioned itself, both locally and internationally, as a leader in the fields of participation in sport and managing and coaching sport.

TuksSport offers a professional home for athletes and volunteers who participate in our programmes. As a catalyst for the development of sport, TuksSport adds value and contributes towards sustainable sport programmes for the broader South African community.
