Are you a speech-language therapist and interested in doing your PhD?

The Department of Speech- Language Pathology and Audiology, University of Pretoria, and the Shuttleworth Foundation are pleased to announce the call for a PhD bursary application for a prospective speech-language therapy postgraduate student for 2019.

The planned research must focus on the development of sustainable and cost-effective teacher support programs (TSP) which will equip foundation phase educators with knowledge and skills required to facilitate language and learning in the classroom. 

Preference will be given to applicants who have access to schools that accommodate large numbers of learners whose first language differs from the LoLT (Language of Learning and Teaching).
