These public lectures are linked to the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, which is dedicated to Physics and takes place in a few weeks in Lindau, Germany. A student from our department has been selected to attend the meeting, see the news items here and here. The Academy of Science of South Africa plays an important role in the Lindau meeting by supporting 20 students or young scientists from South Africa this year.
