In June 2018, the Department of Mercantile Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria said goodbye to Drs Carias Chokuda and Benjamin Kujinga who have decided to pursue career avenues outside the academia.
Dr Carias started his employment on 1 January 2012 and Dr Kujinga on 1 July 2014 at the University of Pretoria.
Dr Benjamin is pursuing a career as Chairperson at Tax and Legal Reserach Africa NPC and as CEO of Energy Innovation Africa NPC. Dr Chokuda has indicated that he is going to farm full-time in Mpumalanga.
