On March 14th, the Africa Careers Network (ACN) delegation, led by Mr. Ahouansou, visited the esteemed team at the University of Pretoria (UP). This visit marked a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between ACN and UP.
The focus of the visit was twofold:
- Sharing Success: ACN was thrilled to share highlights from their recent visit, likely showcasing the positive impact of their programmes.
- Empowering Students: The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of ACN and UP to empower students and foster career development opportunities.
Mr. Ahouansou was accompanied by key ACN members: Ms. Camille Bastien, Program Associate for University Engagement & Partnerships, and Ms. Michelle Peters from Early Careers Success at the African Leadership Academy.
To deepen the relationship and explore potential areas of collaboration, a campus tour was organised to showcase UP's impressive facilities. Additionally, discussions covered various "other topical themes," which could be anything from specific career programs to broader student support initiatives.
By strengthening ties, ACN and UP can work together more effectively to equip students with the resources and skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
