What is risk management?

Risk management is the culture, processes, and structures that are directed towards the effective management of risk across the organisation and which are designed to:

• Identify potential events that may adversely affect or impact UP;
• Manage these risks within the parameters of the predetermined risk appetite; and
• Provide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of UP’s objectives.
