Dear EBIT Students,

On behalf of the 2023 Executive Committee, we extend a warm welcome to all our new First Year students as well as a heartfelt "welcome back" to our returning students. We hope your break was rejuvenating.

We understand that the past three years, with the shift to online learning (and back to contact classes), has dampened the vibrant student life that once thrived here at the University of Pretoria. Our goal this year is to reignite that spirit and bring about a revolution in the EBIT Student Experience.

Our calendar of events is packed with opportunities that span across academic, sports, cultural, and professional domains. The EBIT House will be an active participant in events such as RAG, 1NSYNC, UP Acapella, and various Sports tournaments hosted by ourselves and the Universities Key Commitee's. Additionally, we have exciting collaborations planned with Faculty Houses and other Student-Led Organisations. We have committed to ensuring that we cater for student's mental health and overall safety & security on our campus; hence we will also host various programs catering for this. 

Updates on our events will be shared on our Instagram page (@ebithouse), and we encourage you to follow us there for the latest information. My Executive Committee is always available to answer any questions you may have and values open communication with our students. Your voice is important to us and we strive to ensure that we leave no student behind.

As we look ahead to this new academic year, we want to emphasize that our actions will be progressive and transformative. We are committed to operating in a way that is inclusive and forward-thinking. We look forward to a successful year ahead.
