ECE student tells of pratical teaching experience

“Dressing up like a fairy is the best. Not only do the children get transported to another world but it feels as though I am able to go too. I could not wait to dress up like a fairy. The day finally arrived and I could not help smiling from ear to ear when I saw the learner’s faces. Even the preschoolers that normally cry, were amazed when they saw me as a fairy. Dressing up was part of the conclusion for the puppet show and we baked shortly after. During free play outside, I played games like “ring a ring a rosie.” I also pushed them of the swings and lots of other fun games. As soon as the learners saw the camera all they wanted to do was take pictures with the fairy. Of course its hard work as you always have to be on top of your game with your fairy stories which is not to difficult though when you’re already in character. The best reaction a person can get is when the learners stand with their open mouths just staring at you.”
