These academics are hosted by Prof Cycil Hartell, Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education, and are members of the Africa-Asia Dialogue that consist of representatives from 17 African universities in 13 African countries and 13 Asian universities in 7 Asian countries.
The purpose of their visit is to establish a working relationship with the Department of Early Childhood Education in terms of research and staff and student exchange. They will also visit private schools in Pretoria to do interviews with principals and teachers on ‘quality in education’ in private schools.
