The presentation was entitled “Teaching Literacy in the Foundation Phase programme through distance education: Perspectives of first-time distance education lecturers”. Dr Nkidi Phatudi contributed to the paper, but could not attend the conference.
Dr Joubert says that they hope to offer an Early Childhood Education BEd degree in the Faculty of Education in the near future.
