Dr Gerald Ramsden is a practicing attorney with 35 years of experience, specialising primarily in corporate, commercial, and sports law. Having served as a director at two prominent Johannesburg law firms, Dr Ramsden now practises as a sole practitioner. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (1984) and a Bachelor of Laws degree (1986) from the University of the Witwatersrand, along with a Master of Laws degree (with distinction) 2021) and a Doctorate of Laws degree (2023) from the University of Pretoria. His post-graduate legal studies focused on the civil and criminal law aspects of combat sports, reflecting his passion in the field of sports law.
