What does the progamme entail

BSc Computer Science degree can be completed in a minimum of three years. The curriculum conforms to the highest international standards and will give students a foundation in all the important areas of computer science. Students will study a rich variety of computer science modules that emphasise the most up to date ways of developing software to be used in the IT industry.

Career Possibilities 

This programme includes a significant number of modules in mathematics, statistics and the natural sciences. These modules strengthen the kind of thinking done when one develops software and enhances problem-solving abilities. It also provides a basis for research in computer science, which often relies on a certain level of mathematical skill and maturity. Other than following a research career, graduates follow careers as programmers, system analysts, system architects, consultants, database administrators and network analysts.

The programme is ideal for students who are interested in computer science, as well as in one of the following arears of specialisation: data science, genetics, geographical information systems, IT, law, music and software development

What does the progamme entail

The programme can be completed in a minimum of three years. It aims to prepare students for pursuing a career in the IT industry. By enabling students to take a second major other than computer science, students are provided with a wider background. Computer science has a multidisciplinary application domain and the purpose of the programme is reflected in the composition of the curriculum by combining the field of computer science with other fields of study.
