Join Dr. Lakhdar Boukerrou and Dr. Osama Mohammed from Florida International University (FIU) on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 at 2pm (SAST) for a seminar on; Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), Research Funding and Collaboration opportunities with US Universities. This is part of the US Embassy funded project “UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP TO GROW ADMINISTRATION AND EDUCATION (UPGRADE) PROJECT

Dr. Boukerrou, Director of International Programs and Global Initiatives, has a wide-ranging experience, both in the US and abroad, in international development, project management, training programs design, monitoring and evaluation. He developed institutional and human capacity building programs in several countries including Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Niger, Cote d’Ivoire, and the United States.

Dr. Mohammed serves as a Distinguished University Professor, Associate Dean of Research, and at the College of Engineering and Computing, Interim Director for the School of Electrical, Computer, and Enterprise Engineering. He is also the Director of the Energy Systems Research Laboratory, and a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is world-renowned for his expertise in various research topics in power and energy systems.
